Shiitake noodle bowl

Savoury seared shiitake over noodles in a quick umami broth.

Ingredients

  • 200 g shiitake mushrooms, stems removed
  • 2 portions noodles
  • 4 cups broth
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Optional: scallions, chili, sesame

Steps

  1. Sear shiitake caps in oil until browned.
  2. Warm broth and season with soy sauce.
  3. Cook noodles and divide into bowls.
  4. Ladle broth over, top with shiitake and garnishes.
